The Descent
Directed by Neil Marshall (2005)
One of the scariest films I’ve seen in a while, and lent a distinctly original air being set underground and having an entirely female cast. Superbly directed by Neil Marshall (of great Werewolf movie Dog Soldiers), it builds suspense and terror brilliantly, so you’re perfectly poised for the frantic final thirty minutes.
