Aubaine

Heddon Street (a reasonably quiet little passage just off Regent Street) is a bit of a favourite of mine, and I must have walked past Aubaine fifty times, but for reasons unknown I’ve remained largely blind to the unassuming French Bistro (bar one trip last summer for an early-evening glass of wine).

Street & Studio: An Urban History of Photography

Despite having a deep love for all things photographic, I have to confess that I had a pre-conceived idea that this exhibition would all be trendy fashion shoots and abstract ‘urban’ (in the worst sense of the word) photography. As it happens, I’m pleased to say I was entirely wrong.
