- Had a quiet night in on Friday, and watched United 93, great film.
- Headed to Broadway Market for a pancake and a mooch, then down columbia road and brick lane. Mooching all the way.
- Stumbled across the Meeting of Styles Graffiti festival off Brick Lane. Some nice stuff going up, great atmosphere, and some decent music courtesy of Lazy Habits. (In hindsight, I’m kind of gutted I missed the ska/dub/reggae fun of Pama International and No.1 Station.)
- Jerk chicken wrap with mango mayonnaise from outside of Vibe bar. Absolutely delicious.
- Headed out West for a friend’s birthday party. Drinking games, far too much Aquavit than is healthy, and a great night. And only £21 for a cab home from Fulham to Victoria Park. Result.
- Woke up on Sunday without much of a hangover (amazingly): celebrated with a Sunday roast at The Dove. Tasty.
- Added to our already unmanageable pile of unframed prints with two beautiful new ones from Nelly Duff. Thinkers by Mr Bingo (featuring the hair of Hawking, Einstein, Newton and Darwin) and the stunning Gigi by Angelique Houtkamp.
- Was delighted to see that Milagros have some high-ball recycled glass tumblers in stock. I’ve been looking for these ever since I saw them in Wahaca.
- Started pressing a selection of our prints: as motivation to get them framed in the next couple of weeks.
- Finally rid the new flat of my old TV. Enjoy it mom!
