BBC - Mihir Bose: Stately Perez defends big spending
Excuse me while I vomit into my special bag reserved for the bilious excretions that manifest themselves when I read this pathetic excuse for a journalist wax-sycophantic about someone who provided a very expensive lunch.
Let’s get this straight: on license payers money, Bose, a cameraman, and if I know the BBC, about fourteen other ‘essential personnel’ all went on a jolly to Spain to interview the president of a club who are making Manchester City look frugal — obscenely inflating a market in the middle of a global recession (which is hitting Spain as hard as anywhere) — and all he came away with was: “what a statesman he is!”
If it wasn’t written by such a perennial bottom-feeder I’d be convinced it was a joke.
