Witley Court, an old country house we visited at the weekend. The asymmetry of the building is fascinating, as is the history behind it’s construction (from a Jacobean house, extended by the Foleys in the 17th and 18th centuries, and then constantly developed until it burnt down in a fire in the 1930s). Stupidly, I didn’t take my camera, which means some dodgy iPhone pics are the best I could do.
