Channel 4's extra £20m for drama to fund Shane Meadows' TV debut
How did I miss this? Channel 4 - Big Brother + Shane Meadows = one very happy Jordan. According to shanemeadows.co.uk the series is to be called We Were Faces, and set four years after the events of This is England (my favourite film of 2007).
I’d be hugely surprised if this isn’t TV gold, given Shane’s pedigree, and if it’s got Stephen Graham and Thomas Turgoose in … well, they’re sorted.
