Why we haven’t ported Osmos to Android
A really interesting article from Hemisphere games on why they haven’t ported the amazing iPhone/iPad game Osmos to Android. Once again it’s the lack of standardisation and an OS trying to please as many people (devices) as possible and becoming messy for developers as a result. Interesting poing about the financial viability — better to market to a small number of developers willing to pay for their software than millions who are used to getting stuff for free? Android sounds more and more like Windows every day.
